At the reunion in Santa Fe, Albuquerque lawyer Neil Hamel’s friends from the Old Mexico days had traded hippie indulgence for yuppie sobriety. All but lovely, lonely Lonnie, who was hitting the white zinfandel even after Neil herself switched from Cuervo Gold to decaf.
