Antique Dressing Mirror ~ in distressed white

This genuine antique, large, cheval mirror is framed in solid, stained wood, has it's original brass hardware & can be pivoted or flipped to face either direction on its original matching base. The frame & base have been sanded down, stained & then painted in distressed eggshell or vintage white color over rusted copper, blue & metallic gold undertones. The frame & base have then been sanded down a second time to reveal the underlying colors, darker stain & natural wood grain. The paint has been distressed with a crackle or chippy painted type technique to give the piece a naturally weathered effect. The frame & base have then been sealed with a polyurethane finish for added durability. The mirror itself is in excellent condition & rotates smoothly on the very stable base.
