Re-Designed and Improved Regulator Rectifier.  This unit has a higher output capacity, and will not have the problems that you have experienced with your original version. The OE part may have a extra black or brown wire that is no longer needed on this new moden regulator rectifier. Exceeds OEM Specs. Can handle up to 300 watts of power! This regulator rectifier will need to be hardwired. Replaces: SH541G-12, SH579GA This part replaces Aprilia part # 8127144 OE #s: AP8124267 *The charge point for our 50 AMP MOSFET RR is 14.4DCV.  Our rec-regs are designed for OE batteries and charge at 14.2 VDC (+ or - .2).
