1995-2005 Kawasaki VN800 Vulcan Igniter CDI Unit

This is a new aftermarket replacement for the VN800  (TCI / CDI) which has been discontinued by Kawasaki. The original ignition unit was made by Mitsubishi, and this number may have been stamped on it 21119-1348, J4T05871. ( The original part is shown in the photo to the right) Note: This part has  8 pin connector and 4  pin connector. The new replacement ignition unit is larger and will mount differently than the original part (see the orange part below) This unit has some improvements over the stock unit: The unit is protected against over voltage from a bad regulator rectifier,  battery, ignition coils, and reversing the battery connections There will be a smoother acceleration when revving the up the engine This is a digital unit which is more accurate which is not affected by temperature changes It has an optimized performance curve which should give you more power.
