1987-1994 Kawasaki VN1500 Vulcan Igniter CDI Unit Ignition

This is a new improved aftermarket replacement for the VN1500 Igniter (CDI) which has been discontinued by Kawasaki (The original part is show in the photo above). This unit will plug right into your existing wire harness. It may require custom mounting. Our improved digital ignition unit has a digital vacuum ignition delay so it does not need the vacuum hose, it can be capped off. The original ignition unit  may have been stamped  with one of these numbers : 21119-1217, J4T02371, 21119-1417, J4T02372) This unit has some improvements over the stock unit: The unit is protected against over voltage from a bad regulator rectifier,  battery, ignition coils and reversing the battery connections There will be a smoother acceleration when revving the up the engine This is a digital unit which is more accurate which is not affected by temperature changes It has an optimized performance curve which should give you more power.
