Adtran Port Console Cable Description: These cables are all new quality replacement cables for your Adtran router or switch. These DB9 cables allow you to console into Adtran units and reach the command line interface. Direct console access is required for several important commands such as factory defaulting units or removing passwords. Each console cable plugs into a serial port on your PC. Choosing the right cable for your Adtran router or switch: Older white faced Adtran units use the satin craft silver cable Newer routers or switches with a blue face require the black cable.
