Lumberjack Collection (1941) (4 oversize prints)

A collection full of character, these four oversize (11x14") prints give a glimpse into the daily life of a lumberjack in 1941. Perhaps a piece of copy on the verso of one of the prints says it best: "A lumberjack with the implements of his trade - A band saw, a double-edged ax, a checked shirt, a grin. Loggers are usually hard-hitting practical jokers with a sense of humor as subtle as the caress of a runaway steamroller. Their stories are tall - and rough."
