These needles are LYKKE's first metal needles, made of copper, with both the US and metric sizes etched into the metal bases for long-term durability and readability. Copper is a metal which naturally patinas over time. If you prefer the patina'd look, enjoy! If you prefer to maintain the "brand new shine," you may polish using your preferred copper polishing method. Each individual needle measures 3.5" from the tip to the end of the metal once attached to the cord. Cord measurements include the needle tips once attached.
