Red Gracilaria (Pom Pom)

Beautiful Red Macro Algae that is excellent at nutrient export with the added benefit of being used as a decorative addition or most reef tanks. Placed in the display can add additional color and diversity while still consuming nitrates, phosphates and other dissolved organic wastes. Herbivores such as Tangs, Rabbitfish, and others will graze upon Gracilaria so proceed with caution. In a refugium, Gracilaria enjoys a strong flow and does best when tumbling. Be sure to provide adequate lighting for this species.
