Marbled Paintbrush

We blend two different clay bodies to bring you this marbled paintbrush. The glaze we use on top reacts differently if it is on dark or light clay, showing the blended/swirled clay underneath.  What's pretty sweet about this is because all of our mugs our thrown by an artisan they are all already individually unique. With this process at the end of throwing you cut away the top layer of clay showing the natural blend of the two clays as the combines on the wheel, making not only the mug unique but the swirled design on the clay one of a kind as well.
