Audio Research SP15 Hybrid Tube Preamplifier w/External SP15PS Power Supply

Here we have for sale a rare Audio Research SP15 Hybrid Tube Preamp with separate SP15PS Power Supply. It has been a treat to have the SP 15 in our shop, as we have enjoyed listening to this unit. The phono section on this unit is superb.  Physically the units are in good condition. There are some nicks, scratches, some fading of the black anodized aluminum on the control unit. The SP 15  has been detailed and the face plates present themselves well. It has been gone through and tuned up. All potentiometers and switches were cleaned, lubricated, and we replaced two capacitors in the power supply.  A final testing on our workbench showed the unit was functioning as it should. We then ran the unit in one of our house systems for quite some time, because we wanted to utilize this flagship preamp from Audio Research.  It is a difficult unit to part with. We took this unit in with a pair of Audio Research Classic 150 Amps that we finally just went through and installed 16 new Svetlana 6550
