Frankincense Resin

Latin Name: Boswellia sacraGrowing Status: Sustainably Wildcrafted Frankincense is a resin collected from trees of the genus Boswellia. Ours comes from the highly regarded Boswellia sacra tree of Oman and is hand-harvested using traditional methods. Frankincense tears are firm but slightly sticky, and impart a sweet, sharp and uplifting scent. Frankincense has been burned for centuries in churches, temples and mosques for its cleansing and meditative properties. 1 oz. net wt. is approximately 1/4 cup or 4 Tbsp. volume. Packaged in a compostable bag. Remove the label before composting. There is a 1 pound maximum on bulk herb orders.
