Gu 鼓 means the drum, the percussive instrument. A challenging model that is deftly crafted by our new Collaborative Craftsman Li Qiu Lin!Craftsman Li crafted this impressive-looking, stately and wide-stanced Ru Yi Gu, with the Ru Yi 如意 motifs, two on each side of the curvaceous lid knob, and the carefully appointed twelve raised dots on the rim of shoulder line of this work.Notice the "Qian Gai" 嵌盖 Lid-to-Body Interface, is the most difficult to craft Lid-to-Body interface (compared to the other two interfaces, the Jie Gai 截盖 and the Tian Ya Di 天压地 interfaces).Very adorable as the Qian Gai circular rim, together with the dots, mimic the drum skin ala in a real drum!  Also notice the bottom: the surface being uniformly, totally flat! devoid of any unduly warping/deformation during firing as the ZiSha shrinks within the kiln.Lovingly made by our trusted and committed collaborative Craftsman Li Qiu Lin 李秋林。 He thanks you for your grandest support to the honest and dedicated Craftsladies a
