This class introduces research-based, classroom-provenstrategies and systems to effectively teach literacy at the intermediate level. • Teachers will learn how to recognize common reading deficits, such as dyslexia,and will learn what techniques to implement to foster reading growth. • Utilizing Structured Literacy, this course will ensure participants are teachingliteracy in the most effective way while building enthusiasm and a love ofreading in 3rd-8th grade students.
