Hog Wash Lard Bar Soap
Did you know that lard (yes, pig fat!) is close in both lipid structure & pH to human sebum, making it highly compatible with our skin? And that is has an even more gentle and creamy lather than tallow when used in soap? While tallow has higher levels of saturated fatty acids and Vitamin E, lard has levels of Vitamin D3, Retinol-A, and Choline that also outshine those of tallow by an average of 200-500%! These bars are infused with purslane, aka little hogweed. Purslane contains polysaccharides (natural humectants) that help draw moisture to your skin, supporting your skins moisture barrier. From your toes to your nose, these bars are gentle enough for face, but tough enough for grit and grime. Scented with a blend of Tea Tree, Coriander, Lime, and Wintergreen essential oils, these bars are refreshing and invigorating.
