The Art of Dial UP by Jen Bechem aka Jujubeegees

The inspiration for this design comes from the sound of a dial-up modem. A dial-up connection provides time to anticipate the internet journey, the people you might chat with, and all the new things you may encounter. My form on synesthesia allows me to see what I hear, and there was a decade of my life that this image meant I was about to have an adventure, the whole world could appear on my family's computer screen. While the song of a dial-up may be ugly, even cringey, its deep pinks and greens say, "Hi, climb aboard and let's go!"
