Here we have an antique orange peeler. Orange peelers date back to the 19th century, a time when citrus fruits became more widely available and popular in Europe and America. These tools were designed to make peeling oranges easier and more elegant. The design often included a sharp blade for scoring the peel and a pointed end for lifting it away from the fruit. It is 6.5" tall and silver-plated, made in New York. These have a small amount of rust on the blade that you can see in photos. Second, we have a pair of German grape shears.
