Absolutely stunning antique porcelain oyster plate from 1860! It was hand painted by Carl Tielsch of Silesia in Bavaria which is now Germany. The details and colors of this plate are exquisite with glowing oysters with gently shaded shells, a dark pink background and lovely chains of pearls decorating the edges. The shells appear to be floating above the plate! It bears the mark of CT in blue ink. This is a rare antique, in pristine condition. 9". (other plates available in separate listings)
