Very Special Antique Centerpiece

Wow! This one is a true specialty centerpiece show stopper. This appears to be old sheffield plate, and has all of the incredible hand-made details that we love about pieces like these! Look closely and see where the legs have been hand soldered to the base and the silver carefully applied over the copper, indicating this piece is likely over 200 years old.  I mean it when I say everything about this has me in love. The legs are grounded by substantial lions ball feet, and they gracefully join the top where they bloom into details of flourishes and acanthus leaves with a shell in the middle. The base has this incredible finial with the most beautiful details of leaves and shells with just a little copper peeking through, highlighting its age.
