This is an L-Leg table, model 81B, designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto for Artek in 1933. It was manufactured in Finland in the 1950s. The piece is constructed of steam-bent Birch wood, and has a black linoleum top. This design is part of the L-leg collection of Alvar Aalto and Aino Aalto . The table measures 29 inches tall, 48 inches wide, and 30 inches deep. This table remains original in every way, and the birch has taken on a warm glow from time and use. Please see photos.
