Waxed Canvas Cap

  They're back and better than ever! We upped the weight of the waxed canvas and lined them with lovely and durable silk noil. These are quite possibly our handsomest cap.   We're obviously big fans of waxed canvas; it has a unique look and feel to it that technical fabric just can't duplicate.  We wanted to bring that fabric into our cap line and offer something a little different from our wool and linen caps.  This cap is constructed with four panels that curve around the head and are handsomely top-stitched.  We lined the cap with a mid weight silk noil fabric. Silk noil is strong, durable, breathable and very warm. It has an earthy nubby texture and soft cotton like feel.  This cap is one you'll want to grab to go feed the chickens or meet your friends for a drink.  We also have found this to be the warmest and most water resistant of our caps.  The 6.25 oz waxed canvas  offers a great barrier between your head and the elements.
