Fragaria vesca var. albocarpa Unlike other Alpines, this variety produces runners and makes an excellent groundcover or container plant in sun or dappled shade. 8" tall plants bear 2 light crops of small, sweet, creamy-white berries; one in late spring and one in late summer.
