Cool Minty Salt Bar

Intention:  Cooling soap bar for summer season! Our Sea Salt Bars are mineral rich body soaps that are just wonderful after a hot, sweaty day! Good for oiler skin types also. This coconut oil based soap contains no olive oil, for those of you who may have sensitivities to olive oil and would like to try handcrafted soap! Bars are 3 - 4 oz each Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Water, Sea Salt, Sodium Hydroxide (lye), Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, Spearmint Why We Used These Ingredients: Coconut Oil - cleansing, high in vitamin C, high in lauric acid and antimicrobial Sea Salt - reduces excess oil, essential minerals, exfoliating, improves circulation Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) - a caustic/alkaline reagent that, when mixed with fats and water,  will react (saponify) to create soap. Once cured, a properly made bar of soap will have no lye left in it when finished: it has been converted into soap. Shea Butter - fatty acids that help protect the skin barrier; high in Vitamins A, E & F,
