Pinguicula immaculata

Pinguicula immaculata is a miniature, heterophyllous, perennial butterworts that produce about 10-15 succulent leaves during winter and 6-8 leaves clothed in multicellular hairs during summer. Pinguicula immaculata was discovered in a dry valley between Galeana and Rayones, in Nuevo León, México.  The epithet, immaculata, is derived from the Latin immaculatus (unblemished), alluding to the white corolla of the species.
