This charming fellow named "Woodruff" is the second issue in the RJW "Classic Teddys" series of bears carefully based on traditional teddy bear designs. An antique candy container teddy circa 1910 provided the inspiration for Woodruff. Early examples of candy container bears are extremely rare. Rabbits and other animals designed as candy containers are far more common. As a result, Woodruff is destined to be the first and only candy box bear in many collections! Made entirely of the finest custom-made rich brown mohair plush with skillful airbrush coloration, Woodruff measures twelve inches tall standing. He has jointed limbs and features a hand embroidered nose and mouth of black cording, leather-covered black shoe-button eyes, and taupe-colored all-wool felt paw pads with embroidered claws.
