The Whistler Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Irish Whiskey is a triple distilled blend of the finest Irish malt and grain whiskies, matured in two types of casks. This whiskey has been triple distilled for extra smoothness and it is a choice of the finest Irish malt and grain whiskeys, aged in two cask types; ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry. The whiskey is finished in these fine casks to allow the natural fruity tones to develop and give it its distinct flavor. TASTING NOTES NOSEDry sherbert lemon, white grape, walnut, nougat with creamy raspberry and a hint of tropical fruits. PALATEBergamot orange, mouth coating nougat, a slight minerality, tied together with a hint of coconut, banana and a brief pear note. FINISHSweet, lingering finish with a dry wood prickle.
