The age of the calf is so important because the stem cell activity is in the baby calf. Also, at 1 day old, calf has not been subjected to hormones or antibiotics. All glandulars come from BSE-free countries, and meet the USDA guidelines. Companies that use older calves 6 months to 2 years old do not have the co-factors that the 1 day old calves have.
