Waterfall Walnut Signature Table

This unique replica of a black walnut “signing desk” includes a waterfall end made from the same live cut slab. The legs are made from hand planed and chiseled 1840 quarter sewn oak reclaimed from a two story farm house in Russell County, Virginia, home of the biodiverse Clinch River Valley. These style tables harken back to the days when ceremonial signings of documents relied upon more than one quill or pen, then the signing instrument was gifted to dignitaries and the scribes selected to copy the original.
