This new “George Nakashima style” conoid bench is made of reclaimed oak from the biodiverse Clinch River Valley in St. Paul, Virginia. All of our furniture is made of native, reclaimed Appalachian hardwood and pine unless otherwise stated. The craftsmanship is a product of Gary Gibson, a fourth generation woodmaking artisan who resides in nearby Old Castlewood.
