DESCRIPTION: 6 inch tall Halloween folk art black raven! Just lovely! This raven wears a festive Halloween party hat with matching button boots. I glossed up those eyes and gave painted feathers here and there. The base is wood and painted simply with "Happy Halloween".  Signed original art!  All artwork is original hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay and its processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces. ARTIST: I am a long time artist of over 25 years in the same medium of clay art.
