Variegated Miscanthus - Miscanthus Sinensis Variegatus

 classic ornamental grass, featuring beautiful, wide leaves, with with cream-colored stripes running through deep green stalks, giving this plant a white appearance from a distance.  It grows in a traditional arching shape up to four feet tall, five feet with mid-September, red-tinted blooms. It is tall enough to act as a screen or background plant, but it is also a good size for a border or bright specimen.
