Dwarf Mat Rush (Lomandra longifolia ‘Breeze')

With fine, bright-green leaves that form sturdy, arching tufts, Lomandra longifolia ‘Breeze’ has the appearance of an ornamental grass and the drought tolerance and adaptability of a rush. Growing 2-3’ tall and wide, this tough Australian perennial takes full sun or partial shade, and dry or wet soil. Deer resistant and tolerant of heat, drought and seaside conditions, the Dwarf Matt Rush looks good planted in masses, or as accents in traditional and water-wise gardens.
