This design represents Dissociative Identity and other conditions on the Dissociative Spectrum.  Often, these are very misunderstood conditions and most commonly develop in relation to significant trauma.  Approximately 2% of the U.S. adult population will have some experience on the dissociative spectrum in their lifetime. F44.81 is the diagnostic code for Dissociative Identity.  The color choices were inspired by an individual who lives with and helps to educate on this condition, and the multi-colored outer layer is a representation of the many “parts” that we all have.
