Make sure to dry their paws completely before applying the paw balm. Gently massage the paw balm into your pets paw pads, ensuring you cover the entire surface of their paw. Pay special attention to the cracks and rough areas on their paws. (For extra protection, you can also apply the paw balm in between your dog's toes and on their nails. This will help moisturize and protect these areas as well.) Allow the paw balm to absorb into your dog's paws for a few minutes before letting them walk or run around.  Repeat the application of paw balm as needed
