This is the cardioid version of the FlashMic. The internal memory is about 1GB which is a lot of recording time, even for uncompressed audio. The mic can be powered with either alkaline cells (as tested, not included) or NiMH rechargeable cells. The photos show the actual item for sale. I tested with a USB 2.0 port.
