By combining types from the endtime mission of the servant in the “Punishment & Deliverance” chiasm of chapters 41–46 such as Abraham, Moses, Gideon, Joshua, Solomon, Isaiah & Hezekiah (Isaiah Class 15); Davidic king motifs in chapters 9 & 11 (Isaiah Class 13); rhetorical links about the Lord’s Servant in the Servant-Tyrant Parallelism such as Job, Caleb, Uzziah, and Cyrus (Isaiah Class 17); and Jewish expectations about their endtime Messiah; we obtain a surprisingly clear picture of the mission and calling of God’s latter-day servant!   Highlights include his transgression and marring; symbolic temple rehearsals on the Day of Atonement; examination of “the third day”; the constellation Cancer—sheepfold in the sky; rhetorical links to Daniel’s stone cut out of the mountain without hands that “breaks in pieces”; and Davidic passages in the Old Testament.
