Vertere

The Moiré pattern—or when an opaque-ruled pattern with transparent gaps is overlaid on another similar pattern—creates a constantly evolving visual in the Vertere timepiece from architect and designer Moshe Safdie. This ocular illusion features three minimalist shapes—one red and one blue circle, and a straight yellow line in its center—moving atop a black and white pattern.
