This product is a great way to send Digital (Optical or Digital Coax) audio signals over a longdistance using Category cable terminated with RJ45’s. This is an Active system that provides forextended range Multichannel Digital Audio Transmission over a standard Cat/x cable, and used inconjunction with optical cables (in /out) greatly reduces the chance of picking up radiated noise fromthe 110 Volt AC lines.
