[Blue Level] Compound Word Puzzles

This activity is a really fun one that preschoolers love!Compound words can be fun for kids! Children beginning their reading journey can easily work with these cards. Simply print them out on card stock, laminate if desired, cut the compound words into two puzzle pieces, and then present them to the child. Words and Images included to satisfy a wide age range. Once the child masters the puzzles, ask him to trace and then write the words on his own. Then encourage him to use the words in a story, or a piece of artwork to extend the learning!
