In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use hand-carved printing blocks to create expressive patterns and imagery on fabric. Whether you’re new to printmaking or want to expand your skills, this is a great space to explore your creativity and reimagine materials you already love. We’ll provide a fabric patch to practice on, and you’re encouraged to bring your own clothing or textile scraps to upcycle and transform. Think old tees, denim, cotton skirts, or even fabric panels you’d like to repurpose—natural fibers are best. Together, we’ll explore: The basics of hand block printing Tips for layout, layering, and color use How to incorporate printing into your upcycling or textile projects This workshop celebrates slow fashion, creative reuse, and the beauty of the handmade process.
