Installation This aFe Stage-2 cold air intake outflows the factory intake system by 48% for maximum performance gains of 12 hp & 13 lbs. x ft. of torque. This intake utilizes a highly engineered one-piece heat-shield that requires minimal assembly for ease of installation. A heat-insulating, roto-molded intake tube and a 3-angle adaptor improves volumetric efficiency for maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Handling the filter duties is a factory-oiled Pro 5R cotton gauze, washable/reusable, 360 degree radial flow air filter that provides maximum performance while still retaining high airflow. Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation. This intake system is made in the USA. 5-1/2" 360 Degree Air Filter:A 5-1/2 360 degree conical Pro 5R performance air filters for maximum flow. This 5-layer progressive, oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. Dyno Tested Intake Tube: The intake tube is designed to maximize air velocity and is dyno tested and flowed using the latest engineering tools for maximum performance, mileage and throttle response. One-Piece Filter Housing: The air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. This one-piece heat shield uses factory mounting locations and comes with all brackets and hardware for a hassle-free installation. Note:This intake is 50-state legal for 2012-2016 models. The warranty period begins on the original invoice date and covers the applicable period listed below. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferrable. Proof of purchase of the aFe product is required for all warranty claims. Warranty is valid provided aFe instructions for installation and/or cleaning were properly followed. Proper maintenance with regular inspections of product is required to insure warranty coverage. Damage due to improper installation, abuse, unauthorized repair or alteration is not warranted. Incidental or consequential damages or cost, including installation and removal of part, incurred due to failure of aFe product is not covered under this warranty.
