Mark Twain's lively tale of the scrapes and adventures of boyhood is set in St. Petersburg, Missouri, where Tom Sawyer and his friend Huckleberry Finn have the kinds of adventures many boys can imagine: racing bugs during class, impressing girls, especially Becky Thatcher, with fights and stunts in the schoolyard, getting lost in a cave, and playing pirates on the Mississippi River. Dust Jacket: Good. It has tanning, staining, and small tears on the top edge. Book: Very Good. The boards are clothed, beige color, with a decorative image. There are two minor stains on the cover. The cardboard on the spine is loose near the headband. The text block's top edge is dyed green. The text block is clean and unmarked.
