The edges of the pages are gilded with 22 kt gold to protect them further. A silk page marker is sewn into the binding and silk moire endpapers. The raised spine bands give the book a distinctive Easton Press look. There is rubbing and a hint of soiling on the upper and lower boards. There is a book bump on the lower board corner, the board's bottom edges have shelfware. The text block edges has bumping and a hit of foxing on the fore-edge.
