.30-06 Springfield Featherweight Rifle - 1957

This is a beautiful example of a .30-06 Featherweight rifle. The receiver is numbered 417056, indicating a 1957 manufacture date.  The rifle is in NRA excellent condition.  The bluing on this rifle grades at 95%, showing a few light scratches and handling marks on the aluminum bottom metal.  The barrel appears to have been professionally reblued, and contains no notable blemishes.  The rebluing closely matched the factory finish and this rework of the finish is unlikely to be detected except by the most expert of eyes.  The aluminum butt plate also is in perfect condition.  The bore contains no pitting or erosion, but some very slight copper fouling.  It rates a 9 out of 10, showing almost no evidence of use.  Boroscope verified.  The bolt is also correct and serial number matched to the rifle.   This stock has been professionally restored by Pre64Win.  The wood has great color and is nicely grained, with no gouges, cracks, dents, oil stains or other notable blemishes.  The checkering
