A recounting of an epic bicycle trip. The trip was actually a safari and 60 porters carried the equipment. The bikes were used to avoid "foot-slogging". London: Constable & Company Ltd, 1912, 1st edition. 305pp plus fold-out map. Hardcover book, original brown boards with gilt lettering and decorations, all clearly legible. There is scattered foxing, minor wear to board edges and age has brought about a general dullness to the casing. Still, VERY GOOD condition overall. Map is also VERY GOOD. No dustjacket.
