This booklet gives commentary on seven paintings by Reaugh. The paintings: Driving the Herd, Watering the Herd, Bedding the Herd, Guarding the Herd, The Stampede in the Canyon, Milling Cattle, and The Herd Moves On. In the Foreword, Reaugh wrotes the paintings were “reminscient of my first trips to the western plains, in the early eighties, where it was still a free-grass country…The barbed wrie had not come yet: nor the nester: nor the sheep.” Dallas: copyright 1934 by Frank Reaugh. 1st edition. No pagination. Decorated stiff wrapper bound by twine. Minor wear to the edges but overall in VERY GOOD condition.
