French Gold Compact Box Blue Guilloche & Pearl Accents 1800's Powder Compact Purse Rare

This is a rare and gorgeous French antique 1800's gold powder and mirror compact with blue guilloche accents and white pearls, as well as touches of blue, green and white enamel. It's a gold tone compact that has a lovely aged patina.  The beautifully ornate framed beveled mirror is in poor condition; with no chips or cracks, but it has a lot of silver loss from age.  It comes with a handmade powder puff with a silk embroidered top, as well as a powder plate with trace amounts of solid powder remaining. The outside has a swivel clasp and gold tone chain for carrying.  The swivel clasp and chain can be removed with the spring clip. This piece is hallmarked "Made In France" on the front edge at the clasp. The hinge works as it should, and the compact is in beautiful condition, with only slight signs of age wear and tarnish.  The outside edges of the piece have a gorgeous repousse pattern.  The compact measures a bit over 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
