Antique Jeweled Compact Purse 1800's Gold Ormolu Mesh Wristlet Purse Victorian Dance Purse

Here's a stunning Victorian show stopping late 1800's jeweled ormolu antique dance compact wristlet purse. It's a very unique and wonderful compact purse, in excellent condition; with no dents, dings, rust or corrosion. The clasp and hinge are aligned and in perfect working condition.  This piece has no visible makers marks or origin hallmarks anywhere. The lid is adorned with one large central amethyst stone, and two each of red and green rhinestones. All set in a very ornate gold ormolu setting with enameled white flowers. It has a lovely engine turned design on the back, with a central cartouche area, that is currently blank, and ready for your initials. The compact purse measures a bit over 2 1/2 inches in length, not including the fine gold mesh carrying handle; that adds an additional 5 inch drop from the top of the piece. The width is a bit under 2 1/4 inches. There are a few tarnish spots, and some patina to the gold tone metal, as well as some ever so slight white enamel loss
