Holiday Edition Pottery Class — 4/19 (Cambridge MA)

Kick off holiday season with us at this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class! Learn to make handmade holiday gifts or home décor from clay! Our expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a pinch pot. Then, you'll learn how to make your pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like ceramic mugs, a vase, hanging planters, pots for air plants, candle holders, ornaments, and more.  After class, you'll get to choose from a selection of 4" plants from Pemberton Farms Marketplace to take home and display with your new pottery piece! Details: Friday 12/20 from 6-8pm at Pemberton Farms Marketplace (2225 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140) Each ticket includes: A choice of 4" plant from Pemberton Farms Marketplace to take home and enjoy with your new pottery piece 2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery Our signature 'Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything you need to make your 1-3 pieces during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!) Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint.
