Olympic Kilns Vent Hood for 18-inch_ 23-inch Updraft Gas Kilns

Gas kilns must be properly ventilated during firing, especially if they are used indoors. Olympic manufactures durable stainless steel and galvanized steel vent hoods designed specifically for updraft and downdraft gas kilns. These square-shaped vents feature a 10″ diameter opening at the top, accommodating a non-flammable, double-walled exhaust pipe that can extend through a wall or ceiling to the outside. The vent hoods should be installed approximately 36″ above the top porthole of updraft gas kilns or positioned to allow the lid of Torchbearer gas kilns to be fully raised. The vent hoods are shipped separately from the kilns and have an estimated shipping weight of 200 lbs. For the 18″ & 23″ Raku & Torchbearer kilns, the vent hood measures 36″ x 36″ and is made of stainless steel.
